Dylan Xu is a New York-based freelance Re-Recording mixer, Sound Designer, and Composer. In 2025, he received his BM in Music Technology and a minor in Computer Science from NYU. His work has been featured at festivals including Venice, Sundance, and the Ottawa International Animation Festival. He's interested in the stories and emotions held in the sounds we hear around us.

Dylan Xu also composes electronic music, with a focus on music for dance. His work has been presented at Arts on Site, Triskelion Arts, SUNY Purchase, and NYU Tisch.
